<p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: "><span style="font-family: "><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">Round 2 of the WORCS series was definitely a roller coaster.  It was quite an eventful weekend with a few unexpected surprises mixed in. The forecast called for rain and they were spot on.  It poured Saturday night.  In turn, the track was super rough which made for good racing. Saturday practice was good and we got the bikes dialed in for Sunday. Race Tech did a good job dialing in the suspension and our newest sponsor (Flexx Handlebars) got us all set up and comfortable with our controls. Leatt Brace also came aboard and we are stoked to be able to represent such a great product. <div class="ngg-singlepic-wrapper"><a href="http://www.srh.com/wp-content/gallery/news-images/worcs2-bruce1.jpg" title="" class="thickbox" rel="singlepic552" ><img class="ngg-singlepic" src="http://www.srh.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/nggshow.php?pid=552&amp;width=150&amp;height=210&amp;mode=" alt="worcs2-bruce1.jpg" title="worcs2-bruce1.jpg" /></a></div></span></span></span></p>

<div><strong>Phoenix, AZ<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">      </span>Jan<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>29-31</strong></div>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">Chris Johnson 354 and Bruce Marada 76</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">The first round of the World Off Road Championship Series was this past weekend and both riders had a positive weekend. As you know the time to prepare was limited as we were getting everything in order before the first round. Gathering Sponsors, Products, things needed to race in such a short amount of time.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;"><div class="ngg-singlepic-wrapper"><a href="http://www.srh.com/wp-content/gallery/news-images/chris-johnson.jpg" title="" class="thickbox" rel="singlepic537" ><img class="ngg-singlepic" src="http://www.srh.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/nggshow.php?pid=537&amp;width=300&amp;height=300&amp;mode=" alt="chris-johnson.jpg" title="chris-johnson.jpg" /></a></div>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">The team arrived in Phoenix a few days before the race to dial in the bikes a little more. We received the units one week before the race and time wasn&#8217;t on our side. All in all we got prepared and made things happen.<br />
<span id="more-694"></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">The track was in good shape and the racing was bound to be good. Bruce had a pretty tough get off in practice but that was just a minor set back, he regrouped for Sunday and was ready to race.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;"><div class="ngg-singlepic-wrapper"><a href="http://www.srh.com/wp-content/gallery/news-images/bruce-marada_0.jpg" title="" class="thickbox" rel="singlepic538" ><img class="ngg-singlepic" src="http://www.srh.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/nggshow.php?pid=538&amp;width=300&amp;height=300&amp;mode=" alt="bruce-marada_0.jpg" title="bruce-marada_0.jpg" /></a></div>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">When the sun rose Sunday morning both riders were ready to go. The long road leading up to that day was soon to come to an end. The first race of the season was set to take off the line at 12 noon. Both riders came off the line poorly and had to work their way through the pack. Chris managed to work his way up to 8th at one point but had some set backs late in the race. &#8220;I made a few big mistakes late in the race that cost me, We have some work to do before the next round. I know I&#8217;ll be able to run up front with a better start and less mistakes.&#8221; Bruce actually ran out of fuel and lost time due to that. The track was fast and fuel usage was hard to predict. &#8220;It was a good learning experience for me. I know what I need to work on and I&#8217;m excited for the upcoming rounds.&#8221;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">Bruce finished 19th Overall and Chris finished 11th. Round two is Feb 28th in Primm, NV.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;"><div class="ngg-singlepic-wrapper"><a href="http://www.srh.com/wp-content/gallery/news-images/srh-team-hauler.jpg" title="" class="thickbox" rel="singlepic536" ><img class="ngg-singlepic" src="http://www.srh.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/nggshow.php?pid=536&amp;width=300&amp;height=300&amp;mode=" alt="srh-team-hauler.jpg" title="srh-team-hauler.jpg" /></a></div> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;">The team is going to be more prepared and ready to go. Look for the SRH Motorhome driving down the road!Check out the Video footage shot over the weekend.</p>
