The srh fam came out this past weekend to gather in the canyons of Malibu, CA. This like-minded group of individuals. just so happens to be one of the gnarliest, and dirtiest, group of shit talking, hell raising badasses; and we are honored to consider them family!

SRH FAM TEASER
Long time SRH team rider/ family member Jack Murphy was seen on stage recently with our good freinds Pennywise. Jack has been riding for SRH for 25 years, and he is still surfing and flying high. When Murphy isn’t sneaking into icy barrels or laying down hacks on open faced waves in NJ, he can be found all across the U.S. touring with a number of legendary bands. In this video (linked below), Jim Lindberg, frontman of Pennywise gives Jack a huge shoutout, and invites him, among other friends and family on stage to sing “Bro Hymm”.
Ventura, CA rock outfit Strange Case have released their single “Bella” on Soundcloud (link below). The track is the first release from their upcoming debut album which was produced by former Tomorrows Bad Seeds guitarist Sean Chapman.
A four piece rock band out of Ventura California, Strange Case combines the fast paced movement of organic punk rock, with melodic vocals and a modern alternative feel. The group of eighteen-year-olds have garnered attention and mass buzz from the underground music scene, and more recently have begun to pick up momentum.
Anyone who is hip to modern day surfing progression has most likley heard of santa cruz ripper Zoltan Torkos. Spaded rider Zoltan has recently been featured on “GrindTV.com”, for landing the wolds first kickflip on a surfboard. Heres a link to the article:

What a surprise! Yes, that’s right folks, SRH founder Kevin Zinger, is STILL smoking the devil’s lettuce. (For “medical purposes” of course.) Check out the article below
East coast ripper, and long time SRH family member, Jack Murphy was recently featured in Eastern surf Magazine. The article features an interview discussing Jack’s life surfing, touring, and reeking havoc with the spaded family. Jack is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, and is usually the best surfer in the lineup (because no one else has discovered his secret spot). When I first met Jack, it was a small foggy day in Northern Malibu county. As usual, the local guys were a bit grumpy that everyone, and their cousins were sitting on top of them, with seven foot soft-tops and neon Hurley wetsuits. Although you could cut the tension in the air, Jack cut it with his fins. The most ripping surfer out that day, and by far the most stoked. Jack is always having more fun than everyone else, no matter what he’s doing, and that’s what makes him one of my favorite surfers.

Last night at a small venue in Hermosa Beach, history was made. July 27th marked the twentieth memorial of the passing of legendary bassist, and Pennywise member, Jason M Thirsk. Two Hundred friends, and family packed into a bar to celebrate the life, and memory of their lost friend. Fletcher, Jim, Byron and Randy are tight knit family, and what they have done for JMT, and keeping his legacy alive, is what true brotherhood is all about. It was an honor to be apart of the event, and what it stands for, celebrating life, family, and over two decades of good times. Friends and family will keep the legacy and music alive forever, so here is to another 20 years!
